Jørgen started working in the patent industry in 1993 where he worked as an Examiner with the Danish Patent- and Trademark Office. Jørgen has a flair for noticing and pursuing IPR opportunities. He teaches patent strategy and how to make the most of your IPR budget
Jens started working in the patent industry in 2002. He is excellent at analysing and arguing, and at the same time, he is pedagogical and thorough. Jens has been a qualified European Patent Attorney since 2008 and has experience with all aspects of European patent practice, including interviews and oral proceedings held at the European Patent Office (EPO). In addition, Jens has wide knowledge of US patent practice.
Søren started working in the patent industry in 2004 and with his wide experience both within and outside the patent industry, he is good at focusing attention on the needs of the individual company. Søren is thorough and methodical as well as quick at seeing through complicated problems.
Biography
Partner, European Patent Attorney, European Design Attorney M.Sc. specialized in analogue and digital regulation and control engineering Kaj started working in the patent industry back in 1984 as an Examiner at the Danish Patent Office.
Nicolaj started working in the patent industry in 2007 first as trainee in Patentgruppen and thereafter as Patent Attorney in 2010. In 2016 he obtained authorisation as European Patent Attorney. Nicolaj is excellent at remaining focused in even very complex situations without losing his sense of detail. He does his job to perfection while taking an analytical and structured approach to the task.
Ulrich started working in the patent industry in 2004 as a trainee in Patentgruppen and has been a Patent Attorney since 2007. Ulrich has been working with IPR both as a Patent Attorney and as an in-house Patent Manager within the wind turbine industry. As an in-house Patent Manager, Ulrich was in charge of creating and developing an IPR-setup including written procedures suitable for auditing the IPR-setup. IPR-setup in this context includes the development and maintenance of patent, design, trademark and domain portfolios, surveillance of competitor IPR, increasing IPR awareness in the organization at all organizational levels, technical clearing before entering agreements with collaborators or consultants and development of new products, etc.

Biography
Lene joined Patentgruppen in 2017 as a Patent Attorney and is part of the Life Science Team in Copenhagen. Lene holds a master’s degree in biology-biotechnology and a Ph.D. in molecular microbiology and protein chemistry and has worked as postdoctoral researcher in the field of antibacterial compounds and characterization of gut microbiome. Lene has hands-on experience in molecular- and biochemical microbiology and related animal models and has further a broad knowledge in the field of chemistry. Lene has a broad technical understanding and experience, i.a. acquired through her PhD at Statens Serum Institut and subsequent post.doc. positions.
Biography
Søren joined Patentgruppen in 2017. Søren holds a master's degree in physics from Aarhus University and has had a special focus on materials science. Throughout his studies, Søren has worked on atomic-scale studies of nanosized particles used for industrial hydrodesulfurization as well as new production methods for thin films with tribological properties. Søren has a broad knowledge in the field of physics and nanoscience.
Biography
Rune joined Patentgruppen in 2020. He holds a Master's and Ph.D. degree from Aarhus University, where he subsequently continued his research as a postdoctoral researcher. As a Patent Attorney, Rune uses his broad know-how in areas such as physics, programming and artificial intelligence (AI).
Biography
Matilde joined Patentgruppen in 2022 and is part of the Life Science Team in Copenhagen. Matilde holds a master's degree in Molecular Biomedicine from University of Copenhagen and is specialized in human genetics, in vivo studies and developmental biology. In addition, Matilde has experimental research experience in DNA replication and repair, epigenetics and mechanistic cancer biology, as well as three years' experience in clinical trials of biological drugs from the pharmaceutical industry.
