PG Patent CheckAs you probably know, patent-active companies have a lot of material to review and many decisions to make. For one thing, research and development of new projects require a lot of work and for another; it is very time-consuming to observe the activities of other companies, e.g. patents and patent applications discovered in connection with search reports or in connection with product or competitor assessment. Organized chaos When new material is received by the company, such material shall be delivered to the relevant projects/departments. Some material may require the attention of project managers while other documents need to be discussed with the patent attorney. Regular patent checks We recommend that you fix a date, e.g. every second month, for the review of new material. Knowing that new documents will be reviewed on a regular basis implies that you will not need to worry. Thus, the important communication between project managers and patent attorneys is already scheduled and the necessary decisions will be made in each matter.
